Our Aboriginal Student Voice
The aim of the Aboriginal Student Voice is about fostering leadership development, a sense of belonging and empowering their voices within the school community, whilst also enriching the entire school community by promoting cultural understanding and respect.
Our Aboriginal Student Voice group actively engages all Aboriginal students in Years 5 and 6.
The group meets fortnightly, providing a safe space for students to express their ideas, share experiences, strengthen relationships and contribute to school events, particularly NAIDOC Week. Meetings can include activities such as brainstorming sessions, guest speakers, visits to and with Moruya High School (AEO, Clontarf and students), and connection strengthening activities.
